Homeschooling doesn't have to be hard; AU can help.

Ashland University’s Homeschool and Classical Learning Center was designed to help homeschooled and classical learning students transition into higher education with ease. The center is for students in grades K through 12, and offers the following benefits:

  • Workshops for students
  • Free tutoring – one-on-one or group tutoring
    (offered in math, science, English and foreign languages)
  • Recreational opportunities
  • Engagement with other homeschooled students
  • Access to curricula and other resources

Yearly registration (August - August) with the HCLC allows you to sign up for workshops and attend events. Our FREE registration also gives you an HCLC library card for speedier checkout of materials and allows you to receive our monthly newsletter and early access to upcoming events.

Meet Theresa Watson

Theresa is the coordinator of the brand new Homeschool and Classical Learning Center at Ashland University. She is a local experienced homeschool mom with a 17-year track record, guiding her five daughters through the educational journey. Having successfully graduated four of her girls, all of whom seamlessly transitioned to college, she brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of homeschooling dynamics.

With a unique blend of homeschooling expertise and a proven track record in community leadership, she remains dedicated to enhancing the homeschooling experience for her family and the local community. Her journey is a testament to her unwavering commitment to education and community enrichment.
